MLK Jr. and Rosa Parks Fun with a Linky Party

This was interesting work week day... We had some snow but it was SOOOOO cold outside that school was closed Monday-Thursday and Friday we had a two hour delay!

But we made the best of our Friday and learned all about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks.  We had talked about them a little last week but now it was time for the fun stuff - crafts!!! :)

We made this cute little Martin:

I think the best part was when they were all done and they kept coming over to me to take pictures LOL

After that we watched a lil video on BrainPopJr

and then it was time to make our school bus.

The students got to draw three friends on the bus in the windows.

I'm linking up with Primary Inspired for a "Movies That Get Brains Moving" Linky party! :)
